This space came about with the intention of showing the creativity and originality of the tattoo artist Alberto (Lion Flowers) who has made this work the focal point of his life.
Alberto was born in Pesaro on 31 October 1970, and since the late eighties has developed a great interest in Tattoo Art. Following years of travel and tattooing it became his profession when in 1994 he opened the studio "Tattoo Lion Flowers" in the center of his hometown.
In particular Alberto loves tattooing in colour (as you notice from the flash sheets in Oil on Canvas) and work freehand directly onto the skin, creating unique tattoos every time.
The style that he tends towards is figurative, oriental, classical, old style, with a personal reinterpretation. These characters seem to play and interact with each other, the facial expressions are always proud and powerful (penetraiting looks, teeth, tongue, claws in view).
Also of interest are the tattooing machines, imagined and hand-made by Alberto.
In his studio-cum-museum he collects everything that has to do with tattooing. Alberto works according to the highest hygiene standards: utilizing mono-use materials (needles, colours, razors) and autoclave sterilizer.
